Coral Springs Cadet Squadron Cadets and the City of Coral Springs
continued their exceptional relationship on April Fool’s Day in order to assist
with a parking detail aimed at family water safety. The event was called April
Pool’s Day and took place at beautiful Cypress Park Pool in Coral Springs,
Florida. Jody Johnson, Coral Springs Aquatic Events Director asked Coral Springs
Cadet Squadron to assist the City. As is always the case, the Cadets and Senior
Members stepped up and performed this important community service without
hesitation.
Following the event, Cadets and Senior Members changed into their bathing suits,
had lunch and refreshed themselves at Cypress Park Pool. Cadet participants
earned up to 7 hours of community service for the work they performed at this
important, socially responsible event.
