Home Up Videos Senior Officers Past C/OIC Odierno

1st Lt. Todd Bayley has assumed command and Major Bruce Sage has moved to a position with Group 6

Major Bruce Sage leaves a powerful legacy behind with his enhancements relating to improved processes and workflows to cadet testing, supply improvements, website enhancements and creation of report templates. Logistics was his area of expertise in the military, so we all benefited from that background. He brought many improvements to the Coral Springs Cadet Squadron and leaves us in much better shape than when he became our Squadron Commander.

Major Sage supported Captain Mitch Drucker’s recommendations as model rocket officer, to move forward with anything relating to rocketry and aerospace education. He empowered Mitch to move forward with the Model Rocketry Program lock-in and to bring interested squadron members to the high powered rocketry launches held by Tripoli West Palm High Powered Rocketry Club in Belle Glade, Florida. Captain Sage was also instrumental in organizing the Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral Air Force Station activities during 2006 and 2007. Commander Bayley shares a similar passion for model rocketry and aerospace education.

1st Lt. Todd Bayley is a strong, spiritual leader who also served as our Moral Leadership Officer. His leadership as our Commander will give all of the members of our Squadron strength and hope while building strong moral character for the cadets. We are grateful that Major Sage will continue to be an important part of our Squadron and will also be able to assist our Group with his abilities and knowledge.
