The 2007
Holiday Parade took place on Dec. 12, 2007 with more than 30,000
people lining West Sample road, to watch and cheer as a number of
school bands marched by. The police, fire department, community
leaders and a number of sponsors also took part in the parade. The
Coral Springs Cadet Squadron Honor Guard participated also, after
recently being recognized for having won overall 3rd Place in the
Florida Wing Cadet Competition. The Color Guard represents the Coral
Springs Cadet Squadron, commanded by Captain Bruce Sage, which
received the award of 2007 National Squadron of Distinction. A
significant achievement for the Coral Springs Squadron.
