Wireless and Security camera info

• High Profile cameras: are conspicuous and visible to the public for deterrence, including in Chicago, inside a Police box. (Chicago paid $30,000 for each of those installed cameras).

• Low Profile cameras: are concealed, requiring only a ¼’ hole for the lens.

• Hard wired camera installations are more expensive than wireless, due to the extra labor and wiring.

• In video security the norm is 7 frames per second. Each frame by wireless requires about 100kb

• The Toshiba  IK-WB11A WIRELESS NETWORK CAMERA is Pan & Tilt, but it can be left in one position.

• Toshiba supplies a 1 gig. Memory for this camera, enabling 4 hours of playback.

• It can be secured easily so no one can hack into it.

• The Toshiba Model WB 02 Toshiba camera is without Pan and Tilt.

• Security Cluster:  Several cameras can reliably be “connected” wirelessly to one router. The router would be physically connected by wire to either DSL or cable.  One individual park, neighborhood, shopping center or other could utilize several Security Clusters.
