The security cameras can enable security officers to monitor areas in real time and optionally, from their vehicles. The images can be recorded for an extended period of time, in addition to transmitting them securely to the Police Department Digital Video Recorders.  In the event of an incident, it enables law enforcement officers to later review what took place at various locations hours earlier, from a vehicle or at the station.  Their investigations and reports become more efficient and less time-consuming.
